The 2008 Boston Cancer Horse and Dog Show was once again a success, this years weather was much cooler with a chilly wind, but the temperature rose somewhat when the sun came out which it did throughout the day thankfully. We had the usual mix of entries with people of all abilities competing, the entries in the Ridden Coloured class were impressive to see ,a line of beautiful horses both Skewbalds and Piebalds.
This year we had some lovely ladies who did a marvelous job sorting out food and drink for helpers and judges alike. The dog show did extremely well this year and a big thankyou goes to all involved in running it.
Boston Cancer Horse and Dog Show committe would like to thank all who supported the show, wether by sponsorship of goods or money or by giving their time setting up, running the show or taking down equipment, and of course who took part.
We were very pleased to be able to send a cheque for £1200 to Cancer Research UK this year which is amazing. We hope you will support us again at our 37th show on Sunday 17th May 2009.
