The 38th Annual
To Be Held On The 2009 Boston Cancer Horse and Dog Show was a very enjoyable day even though the weather let us down, we had some heavy rain in the morning and afternoon although it did fine up later on so we were able to clear up in the dry. The bad weather did not put off the early arrivals who stayed on and had a good time. Unfortunately the lower turnout did affect the takings which were down on last year, but we inted to carry on regardless and hope that the weather is on our side this year. We have had to change the date which is now 6th June. Boston Cancer Horse and Dog Show committe would like to thank all who supported the show, wether by sponsorship of goods or money or by giving their time setting up, running the show or taking down equipment, and of course who took part. Despite the weather we were able to send a cheque for £400 to Cancer Research UK this year. We hope you will support us again at our 38th show on Sunday 6th June 2010. |
